Due to current conditions throughout the district and in anticipation of the overnight forecast, all schools will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, February 15th, 2023, to provide additional time for buses to safely transport students to schools. This means that buses will run 2 hours later than during normal times. If you drop your child off at school, please remember that staff will also be on a two-hour delay. Full day Pre-K programs are also on a two hour delay. Morning Pre-K programs have been canceled. Afternoon Pre-K programs will operate on a regular schedule.

Due to icy road conditions and low temperatures across the District that would prohibit the safe transportation of students to school, all schools will be closed. This is not a remote learning day. All after school and evening activities are canceled.

SFPS is excited to support school and community-driven summer programs for a second year! We invite staff and partners to apply to provide creative summer programming at

wrodriguez@sfps.k12.nm.us.
"We flipped the script on extended learning last year by partnering with our community. The result is a new, exciting community partnership model for SFPS summer and after-school programming," said Superintendent Hilario "Larry" Chavez. "We invite you to apply to continue the fun and learning in 2023."
SFPS and a cadre of inspiring community partners provided 2,656 students, or 21 percent of the district’s population, with free summer programming last year. Thirty-three programs were offered at 13 different SFPS sites.
Summer programs to provide student enrichment and close learning gaps are supported by federal pandemic relief funding.
